Yesterday I received the last bit of confirmation that my PhD journey is finished. I have met the requirements for the award of Doctor of Philosophy in Electronic Engineering (so says the Standing Committee on Assessment), I don't need to make any more changes to my thesis, and now I just wait for graduation. It feels... Reassuring. Anti-climatic. Comforting. Like a weight off my shoulders.
Although, my graduation is currently cancelled, so I have to wait a bit longer to wear the silly hat. And I haven't got a final printed and bound version yet - that will have to wait until the university is open again...
