As the pandemic has shut the doors of many churches and silenced hundreds of choirs, many are turning to virtual versions as replacements. Over the last couple of months I have been involved with creating such virtual choir pieces for a church in York, St Olave's, with my colleague Jude Brereton and her son Arthur. The choir pieces often were part of larger video compilations for services, created by Ben Pugh. Jude and Arthur took care of the audio for the choir pieces and I created the accompanying videos.
Jude, Arthur, Ben and others including Ed Snow are continuing creation of these short choir pieces after I needed to step away due to other commitments.
